JUBAEA CHILENSIS

– Origin : Chile , cordillera de los Andes
– Family : Arecaceae
– It’s very resistent to the cold weather, down between -15º to -20º
– Jubea has a big trunk 1,20 – 1,50 m diámeter, long leaves. Can to arrive 20 m high
– When the palm is young, the grown up is very slow .
– Jubeas more high than 1 m trunk are very expensive and few quantity in Europe.
– This variety are very interested in European market, is majestic.
