The Trachycarpus Chusan Palm is one of the more cold-resistant Palm, so it is used as an ornamental plant for its good resistance to cold and hot temperatures, being able to arrive to support  to -20°C.
Not very rapid growth, the Chusan Palm Trachycarpus can reach a height of about 12 - 15 meters.
The Trachycarpus leaves are dark green and measure approximately 0.75 - 1 m long.
Ussually, the Trachycarpus are used to form groups of 3 units of different heights, or it is ussed alone. Also in lineups.
