The Chorisia or Ceiba Speciosa, commun names Ceiba del Brasil , Palo Borracho is considered one of the most beautiful trees in the world and produces wonderful silk floss blooms in early fall.

Cylindrical trunk with stout spines in the cortex, the Ceiba Speciosa  sometimes swollen from the base as a bottle that serves to store water and resist drought several months,  can even store the dew that falls under its branchesooms in early fall.
